Let’s talk TRASH!
Ever wondered what happens to the recycled trash you conscientiously sort every time you reach for your trash can? I do! And do you have the answer?... Me not either. Since recycling became the “must-do or die in shame” way of life, I always been curious to know what really happens once the roaring of the trash truck fades away in my street.

Reusing Your Printer Paper
I don’t know about you, but even with things like paperless billing I have a lot of
extra paper around my office. For a while I have been tossing the paper in the recycling bin or running it through the printer again on the backsides, but then I had a great idea. I am always looking for scratch pads, to write phone messages, shopping lists, to-do lists, stuff like that. What if I could find a way to reuse that paper . . .
Bags for Everyday Living
I love reusable bags. I use the ones from my supermarket all the time, whether it is to carry food to a party, or small packages to the post office. I especially like the fact that my supermarket gives me a nickel back for every bag that I bring in myself and use right then and there. The trick has always been remembering to bring them into the store. Numerous times I have found myself on line to pay, and suddenly I remember those bags … sitting in the car, or hanging out on my counter at home. I have gotten better about bringing my reusable bags to the supermarket, mostly because I leave them in my purse or computer case at all times.
