Have you ever been... hang gliding?
A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit Brazil for work. Mostly I was in a small town called Sao Mateus in the state of Espirito Santo, but I had to fly in and out from Rio de Janeiro. I stayed a few extra days on my own and my husband Matt met me there. The beaches... Sugar Loaf... Corcovado... everything was stunning. A highlight of our trip was a tandem hang glide over the beautiful coastline.

Child's day - Brazil
Hello SEED people!
Here in Brazil, the 12th of October is our Child's Day. The whole country stops and give loads of gifts to our children. SEED couldn't stay out of this That's why we sent a beautiful cake to our school in Rio de Janeiro, Municipal School Tenente Antonio Joao.
Our kids and young people were very excited about it!

Visit to State School Barão de Maua 29.09
The visit to Barão de Mauá School was in the morning of 29th of September. Professors Sergio Luis and Maria de Fátima,
gather with headmaster Maria Cristina, were waiting for us with a great team of students. They showed us the step by
step of the sustainability project. The new project initiate after our wonderful Collaborative Workshop on may of 2012
where teachers found the missing piece of the puzzle. The learning while doing methodology and the construccionism.

No mês de Julho o Colégio Estadual Barão de Mauá (Aracaju) realizou uma bela Mostra de Artes onde foram ressaltadas não só as habilidades artísticas dos alunos como a importância das Artes ao logo dos tempos para a Expressão dos sentimentos e emoções humanas.
Esta iniciativa foi própria da Escola e a Diretora Cristina gostaria de compartilhar as experiências conosco.

The volunteers were briefed as to the different aspects of the workshop.
