Seeing the world from above

I was recently flying across the country and gazing out the window at the beautiful landscapes. I thought about how lucky we are to have this perspective.  No bird has ever flown as high as today's commercial airliners.  There is no tree high enough for a bear, snake, or monkey to climb to the top to see our world this way either.  We as humans are blessed with this vantage because of our technology. If you ever fly in an airplane, be sure to sit by the window so you can see the glory of our Earth from an entirely different perspective.

Have you ever been... bungee jumping?

Bungee, Bunjy, Jump, New ZealandMy hubby and I went to New Zealand for our honeymoon in September 2004. It was idyllic -- calm, peaceful, beautiful scenery; beautiful beachers; a slower way of life; and bungee jumping...

SmartWired and Solar Water Heater Workshop

Another workshop was held at Quirino High School last Saturday (March 9, 2013). As one of the graduating students this year, that workshop was my last workshop as a Qurino High School student. Because of that, I did everything just to enjoy that workshop.

The Smart Wired acitivty was the first one we performed. It taught us many things, mostly about our successes in life.  In that activity, I've learned and realized a lot that can help me in another stage of life I will encounter in the future.

Have you ever been... on the flying trapeze?

Circus, Flying trapeze, SEED, PlanetSEEDIs there anyone on this planet that doesn't want to join the circus, even for a day?  As a child, I loved going to the circus to see the clowns, the dancers, the animals, and especially the trapeze artists.  How graceful they were, swinging from bar to bar right above our heads! They reminded me of monkeys at the zoo. No wings or feathers, but still able to bound through the air for a few seconds of airborn freedom.
