YouthCaN 2012 - A Resounding Success

Versão para impressãoVersão para impressão

Praise be to God for another year He has permitted to Quirino High School Teams - A really resounding success!

Johann, you may now take the floor.  Good luck! Introductory words that set foot on Quirino High School Teams Philippines with 2 presentations 1) Jambalaya of ways to S.O.M.E. (Save Our Mother Earth): Dishwashing Liquid made easy at Home by Johannes Paolus San Agustin - Junior; 2) OMG: Organic Fabcon by John Ian Baytamo & Camille .  At first, I'm so nervous that I might forgot what to say and what could be the flow of my first time presenter Johann! But, the presentations turned so very well and created great excitement and joy since we were able to see Ma'am Simone Amber, the founder of SEED and Sir Ed Gragert once again.

In behalf of Quirino High School Teams led by our School Principal Dr. LEVITA U. RAMOS and QHS SEED Coordinator Ma'am Rosalina Molina, we would like to express our utmost gratitude for expanding your HANDS once again to us.  Those experiences would surely remain in our hearts and aspirations that deserve to treasured forever.

Really it is our great honor and privilege to be a part of YouthCaN New York City 2012.

Many thanks to Ma'am Corinne Damas-Sandiford, Sir Nathan Bellomy, Ma'am Simone Amber, Sir Ed Gragert, Sir Jay Holmes, Sir Simon Lim, Ma'am Susan Randel, Sir Hafiz Azzizi and of course to the audience who extended their patience in listening all our presentations. We do hope this simple message/blog of ours would be read by the especial persons mentioned above!  Thank you, thank you so much!

Wow - it is so neat to view this event from both sides of the world - i.e., from the students' perspective here (taken by Simon Lim), and from the conference's perspective (in the blogs posted by Hafiz Azizi).  It's really wonderful to have such active participants.

Many thanks, Ma'am Love!

Really God is in our midst for the new generation of youth through YOUTHCAN and SEED.

LONG LIFE for all of us!

Rolando,

Did you have an opportunity to speak with some of the students in NYC "attanding" the Skype presentation? I would love to know their impressions.

-Krysti

Hi Ma'am Krysti!

We were not able to talk to the student participants at the American Museum of Natural History probably because of time constraints.  We had presented two experiments in one slot. Only Ma'am Simone Amber and Sir Ed Gragert presented questions for us. It is so nice to remember their words of appreciation, such as "Perfect! / Excellent! / Very Nice."

Thanks much, Ma'am Krysti!
