Have you ever run a marathon?

Since I'm 12 years old, I have been running. I love this activity because it is very flexible and very rewarding.

I ran twice the Paris marathon and now I want to change and discover another city.

The preparation to run a marathon is very intense and important to follow in order to respect your body and soul...

I like to start my preparation 4 months before the marathon to get my body into an easy and flowing movement and of course ENJOY the run!

The marathon itself is really a special sensation where you feel the human energy and yourself envaded into the "spirit of the marathon".

Now, I am preparing for the Maratona di Roma on March 18th, 2012. My goal is to run it in between 03:50 to 04:00 hours.

And you, have you ever run a marathon?

Congratulations, Corinne! Having run some 15 marathons, I understand the challenge of the undertaking and the commitment you had to make to train and then race. Do you keep a log of your total mileage? If you have been running since you were 12, you have probably "gone around the world"! Well done. p.s...my shoes have always been Saucony.

Hello Daniel,

Would you please share with me your experience by creating your own blog.

It would be amazing to know about your 15 marathons. I would like to know more about your trainings as well.

Thank you!

Corinne

Great shoes..

Yesterday, I just completed the Roma marathon.

I ran a distance of 42, 195 kilometers in 4:35:42

Due to the weather conditions and my legs hurting I took the decision to walk from time to time around 45 minutes. For the best, as I feel perfectly in shape today.

I have run a marathon in last year. It feels really great after a long running. Marathon is really a good idea of reminding about health for everyone. There are many other people who run a marathon every year regularly.  I think running is one of the best ways to lose weight.

Corrine, good luck in your Marathon training. I don't think I can commit to the training routine and run a marathon.

The closest I've ever come to a marathon was when I did Susan G Komen walk for cancer walk 2 years ago. :)

Maybe one day I'll "man up" and will run a marathon.

If you have pictures from the event, please post and write your review after. I wonder if it will be any different from a marathon you ran in France.

Best of luck!

Thank YOU!

It is important to prepare well in advance in any case not to look like this:
