Bernoulli principle

What is the Bernoulli principle?

The Bernoulli principle states that the internal pressure of a fluid decreases as its velocity increases. This principle is used in many everyday objects, including spray paint cans and airplane wings.

This SEED article about Sailing includes a description and animation of the Bernouli principle.

There is more about the Bernoulli principle on these pages from physicist Mark Mitchell
