"Find a niche, define what sets you apart from others and begin working hard on your future success. In the end almost nothing is as rewarding as what lasting achievement you have created despite all odds." |
I am the SEED coordinator for Egypt. Together with other SEED volunteers, we have developed the Connectivity Grant Program in the country, promoted the online Science Center among connected schools and initiated and facilitated collaborative projects between students.
The SEED offering foes beyond the direct financial help/aid. It supports schools and students with valuable tools and media to increase their global consciousness.
I joined the Faculty of Science at Cairo University to study Chemistry. After one year, I decided to switch to Electronics and Telecom and graduated with a B. Sc. in 1981. I joined Schlumberger in April 1984 and my typical working day is about continuously improving service quality and looking for more opportunities for business. I enjoy responding to challenges and achieving goals. In my leisure time I enjoy sports and traveling.
