"I always have been fascinated by the way the Earth is 'living'..."

I was born on 9th December 1977 in Tours, France, and spent most of my childhood in Vouvray, a little village nearby. I always have been fascinated by the way the Earth is “living”, and by nature and mechanisms of life. I love to walk in the forest and watch nature at work.

I obtained my A level in Math, Physics and Biology in 1995, and then I studied Math and Physics for 2 years at Lycée Descartes, still in Tours. I moved to Strasbourg, France, where I spent 3 years studying Geophysics at the Ecole de Physique du Globe. I passed my Geophysics Engineering degree (equivalent to MS) in October 2000. I am interested in geophysics, of course, but also in plenty of other subjects: literature, cinema, animals, biology and more.

I have been working for Schlumberger since February 2000. I am Project Geophysicist for land seismic acquisition. This work consists of creating some data processing programs. My work gave me the opportunity to move from France to England and from England to the US. There is a lot to learn from traveling and meeting new people.
