Collaborative Workshop Port Harcourt, Nigeria Day 1
Day 1:
WoW! It has been a busy 24 hours!
Tom Lough and I left the Sugar Land SEEDLAB yesterday to travel to Nigeria to lead a collaborative workshop in Port Harcourt starting on July 30th. The flight was good, a little to bumpy for me to sleep, but I had 3 seats to stretch my legs in all night!
Upon arriving in Lagos we were warmly greeted! After leaving the airport Tom and I got to experience Lagos traffic at its craziest! We are very thankful that we had a great Schlumberger driver. We are tired, but we are excited to arrive at Port Harcourt tomorrow to begin preparing for the workshop and to finally meet Valerie, the SEED coordinator for Nigeria!
The people here in Nigeria are very welcoming!
So far, so good!

This is really amazing and a privilege to read your daily blogs!!
Thank You so much!
I remember meeting with Valerie in 2010 for the OLPC Project, what a wonderful work and evolution since that Opening Ceremony.
VIVA SEED Nigeria!
Can't wait to see more pictures and hear about how everything goes.
The adventure begins! Carolyn, please keep us tuned in with more posts and lots of pictures! Also, it would be great for some of the students and teachers to share their experience in real time.
I wish I was there, too!
Love
Wishing you all a fruitful journey in Nigeria!
Annette
