The Seventh International Digital Fabrication Conference in Lima, Peru

The Seventh International Digital Fabrication Conference opened on 14 of August 2011 in Lima (Peru). The inaugural evening consisted of an opening mixer at Lima’s City Hall. During the Inauguration Fab Lab Lima was introduced and the conference attendees were addressed by the President of Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, the Dean of Architecture, and the Mayor of Lima.

Fablab 2011 - Stanford University

In January 2011, I was lucky enough to be allowed to participate for two weeks in the Stanford University

Fablab, which is a very creative initiative to teach teenagers the process of imagining, building, and

testing anything they can imagine by using modern equipment such as laser cutters and 3D printers, (but

also good old ingenuity and duct tape!). Needless to say, it was a great experience, full of learning,

creating, and here's how it went:
