Participating schools for May Math Puzzle Project:
Workshop on the themes of saving energy and robotics in Tyumen Russia. The workshop began with lectures by experts in each of the two theme areas, followed by brainstorming, planning and development of projects.

FABLAB@SCHOOL is installed and functioning at Lyceum 1502 in Moscow, Russia.
This workshop was hosted by a SEED teacher at a SEED school in Nizhnevartovsk, Siberia, for teachers and students from 20 other schools. This was the first such independent workshop carried out with no international SEED staff present.
Michael Tempel will be the lead facilitator for this 2-day training workshop (Sept 27-28, 2008) to precede a 5-day Collaborative Workshop, in Irkutsk, Russia. Svetlana Belova is the SEED Coordinator and main local contact person.
All of the projects focused on the energy and sustainability aspects of the workshop theme. Two of the projects focused on energy efficient buildings. The others included a roving eco-sentinel, an amusement park, an eco-car, a minifarm, and the highway of the future. The project features included solar panels, wind mills, controlling motors, pumps, and lights with the GoGo board based on sensor inputs, and the collection and use of water.
Michael Tempel will be the lead facilitator for this Collaborative Workshop on the Water theme. Svetlana Belova is the SEED Russia Coordinator and the main contact.
В Красноярске, в сентябре 2009 года состоялся международный научно-технический семинар программы SEED, в котором приняли участие все школы, получившие грант компании «Шлюмберже». Главной темой семинара стало устойчивое развитие в ракурсе проблем, связанных с oхраной воды и энергетикой.
A Collaborative Workshop for all SEED Schools in Russia was held in Krasnoyarsk during the last week of September, 2009. The theme was Sustainable Development, with a focus on Water and Energy issues.
