I am Tom Lough, SEED educational consultant. I am opening this blog as a journal for theSEED workshops in Macae, May 26-27 and May 28-31. Today, May 18, I am working on some of the tools we will be using in the workshops. These include the GoGo Board, the Scratch software, and the SEED water testing kit.

Do you have a special place? My special place is my home. It is special to me because my family is there. When I am at home, I feel surrounded by an atmosphere of love and comfort. My home gives me the peace of mind I need, so that I can face the tasks before me with calmness, patience, and focus.

Candles and shadows
Hi, everyone!
The other day, I happened to observe a lighted candle that had a spotlight trained on it. When I looked at the shadow of the candle on the wall, it seemed to be the shadow of an unlit candle! The flame seemed to have no shadow at all! Here's a photo of what this looked like.
